I'm not sure if I'm the only one thinking this, but everything about Domo Animate is just kinda eerie to me. It used to be my favorite pass-time as a kid and now its been gone for like 8 years.
I just can't pinpoint exactly why I feel this way, I just do.
Does anyone else feel this way?

While it may not be true for everyone, I believe it may have been because although Domo Animate managed to create and connect a small (but nevertheless very active at the time) community, the fact the site never received updates/redesigns to the layout after the site admin left made it feel rather abandoned.
I can understand what you mean though, near the end of its runtime it was beginning to feel like a Wild West environment.

I know it was someone called Jexx, but every time I try to look into information on them, I never get anything. My assumption is that they were a prominent GoAnimator, but I don't really know for sure. |

To be honest, Jexx was one that never had much of an outside presence even after he left, however, I don’t recall him having any videos on his channel. All that I am aware of is a thread that Whitekirby6 made with a mention that Jexx moved on to a gaming company after leaving Domo Animate.
I have tried searching through the Wayback to see what was archived of the site out of curiosity, but it’s a bag of mixed results with some channels or videos (moreso the comments) backed up.

probably from before Domo shut down. i recently resized most of the emojis so easier to view on mobile and added a few new ones as well as a web icon a little Domo for the site.
