All of this attempted murder has been happening! First the stabbings, and then some girl lit her house on FIRE, all in the name of Slenderman. And NOW if anyone enjoys reading this type of stuff, we get publicly shamed and berated! Its just stories! And none of us would really do something as stupid like stabbing our friends! I am so agitated right now. Anyone agree?

There's something really really stupid about murdering just to summon a fictional creature that, even if they somehow manage to summon, would just murder them with no benefits gained.
