they walked along the pathway and she took his hand and smiled up at him, then she laughed."I'm so short and you're so tall!!!" and she made puppy eyes

Fritzi ordered an espresso and a regular croissant, as he got his food he looked for eve's location and met up with her again.

Evie quickly wolfed down the croissant and gulped down the coffee. she licked her lips and wiped her mouth with a napkin. "mmm..." she smiled at Fritzi. "Tonight will be interesting. I do hope we catch him.."

"I'm just thinking about how he is armed, i might make some custom blades before i go out. I made this hand spike, the design is like a pole with a blunt end and a sharper end on the other side, i like the design but i'm worried about the weight if i have to distribute it...." Fritzi looked at his sketchbook and scribbled down ideas on different metals and designs. Worry showed on his face, he measured and re-sized the sketch. "ah, i should probably stop worrying.." His expression turned to embarrassed as he ate his croissant.

Evie reached over and ruffled Fritzi's fringe."Don't worry too much, yes, take precautions, but if we over stress, the whole operation could fall apart." she giggled and waved the waiter over and ordered another coffee

Fritzi nodded and smiled, " I know, but when you think of the scenarios you have to be armed to the teeth. Or death weights upon us, and i like living as much as the next guy." He sipped his espresso and kept sketching. "The sketches so far might work but i might make the coating brass." He showed her the sketches, showing her how it will work out. "I've kept these designs for some of my elderly customers, these are pole-arms but the original design is a cane with a sword in it." Fritzi said showing her the original sketches.

Evie's eyes widened when she saw the sketches and started exclaiming how fascinated she was with "oohs" and "ahhs" "Oh my Fritzi how did you get so good at designing???"
