Mia walked out of the airport and took a taxi to the nearest bar. She needed to drink her pain away in hopes of forgetting it all.
“ whatcha need miss,” the bartender asked, whiling cleaning a glass “ something strong or weak?"
Mia looked up, “ the strongest ya got.”
The bartender simply nodded and puree her a glass of mixed bourbon with everything else in it.

Mia sipped at her concoction, the alcohol burning her throat. A bum walked up and sat next to her, " Need something to help get up mind off of deary?"
Mia looked at him slightly with a dark look before grabbing his arm and breaking it, " Leave me the hell alone."

Three men had to pull Mia off of the bum, and they threw her outside banning her from that bar for a week.
She seen the text message and replied, " I'm 'fine' just gonna head home and get some sleep."
